IT System Investigation Coordinator

Job Summary

Supporting the VA ESOM contract, the full-time remote IT System Investigation Coordinator will manage Problem Management investigations, coordinating activities among cross-functional teams to identify contributing factors and develop corrective actions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day Problem and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigation activities across various stakeholders
• Establish and maintain investigation plans, timelines, and follow-up activities while facilitating meetings to ensure clarity on actions and next steps
• Gather and synthesize information regarding business and user impacts to support the broader significance and scope of Problems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
• 5 years of relevant experience in IT system administration or related fields
• Experience conducting standard IT system administration activities and recording data in ITSM tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously
• Familiarity with Problem Management, Root Cause Analysis, or similar investigative environments
