IT Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To support a growing IT team, the full-time remote IT Systems Administrator will manage identity and access management, automate workflows, and oversee device management across a modern SaaS stack while ensuring security and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage Okta for identity and access management, ensuring SSO, SCIM provisioning, and governance of service accounts
• Design and implement automations for employee lifecycle processes and SaaS governance using tools like n8n and the ticketing platform
• Oversee device management for macOS and Windows environments, ensuring compliance and security across the fleet

Required qualifications

• 4+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or IT engineering in a SaaS-first, remote company
• Deep experience with Okta administration, including SSO, SCIM, and Device Trust
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions for macOS and Windows, including compliance policies and app deployment
• Proven ability to build automations and integrations using n8n or similar tools
• Strong understanding of security principles, including least privilege and SOC 2-aligned IT controls
