IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time IT Systems Engineer II working remotely, the candidate will build, support, and scale internal systems while managing inbound IT Infrastructure requests and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and security.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a primary systems administrator for key tools such as Okta, Google Workspace, and Atlassian, ensuring effective integrations
• Triage and handle IT Infrastructure requests, including implementing SSO and configuring SaaS tools
• Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot advanced issues, and participate in on-call rotations for critical components

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of IT systems engineering experience in a distributed, enterprise IT environment
• Proven track record administering core IT platforms like Okta, Google Workspace, and GitHub
• Experience managing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or GitOps
• Proficiency in building automations using tools like Okta Workflows and Jira Automations
• Strong knowledge of identity access management systems and security methodologies
