IT Systems Engineer V
Job Summary
Supporting government modernization initiatives, the full-time remote IT Systems Engineer V will provide expert guidance in cloud architecture, automation, and systems engineering while leading cross-functional teams to enhance technology adoption and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business and systems analysis to support automation and infrastructure improvements
- Design and implement automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide day-to-day cloud operations and ensure compliance with security best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure systems and cloud-native solutions
- Minimum 10 years of experience in system design, architecture, and Agile software development
- Experience with cloud compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53 is preferred
- Active or ability to obtain a federal security clearance is preferred
