IT Systems Manager
Job Summary
Leading a small, high-impact System Administration team, the full-time remote IT Systems Manager will provide technical direction, manage operations, and ensure infrastructure security and scalability while aligning team priorities with business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of System Administrators, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and performance management
- Own systems administration operations, including ticketing, SLAs, patching, and compliance, while managing core security tools
- Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to align team priorities with business objectives and support company growth
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience in systems administration and end-user support
- 3+ years of experience leading or supervising IT staff, including hiring and performance management
- Strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure, including AD, Intune, and Entra ID
- Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure, and tools like Atlassian and Microsoft 365
