Job Summary

Seeking a Japan Licensed Staff Software Engineer fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1) for a full-time remote position, who will design, implement, and maintain scalable brokerage systems tailored for the Japan market while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring operational reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable brokerage systems specific to the Japan market
• Enhance middle- and back-office systems, including APIs and third-party integrations
• Coordinate with local regulators and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications

Required qualifications

• Native or JLPT N1 level fluency in Japanese and business-level English proficiency
• Proven experience in designing complex financial systems, including double-entry accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and transaction reconciliation
• Experience in building high-availability financial applications handling multi-currency transactions
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial markets, particularly in Japan
