Japanese Content Editor

Job Summary

To support B2B SaaS clients, the contract Japanese Content Editor will edit and create long-form content in Japanese, focusing on refining AI-generated drafts and producing original articles, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Edit LLM-generated drafts to ensure they read naturally and accurately in Japanese
• Write high-quality, original long-form content on various B2B and technical topics
• Fact-check and verify all claims and sources in drafts to ensure accuracy and reliability

Required qualifications

• Native Japanese speaker with native-level written fluency
• 2-3 years of experience in editing and/or writing content for marketing or B2B brands
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and the ability to write for both readers and search engines
• Professionally proficient in English for team communication and feedback
• Degree in journalism, Japanese language, linguistics, or a related field is preferred but not required
