Java Backend Developer
Job Summary
To support cloud-native application development, the full-time contract Java Backend Developer will provide technical leadership, drive AWS cloud adoption, and oversee backend development initiatives while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers in delivering scalable cloud-native applications on AWS
- Drive architecture decisions and engineering best practices across Spring Boot microservices and OpenSearch platforms
- Mentor engineers, improve development processes, and ensure alignment of technology investments with business goals
Required qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot
- Proficiency in AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch and Docker
- Background in automotive technology is a plus
