Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare technology platform, the full-time remote Java Developer will focus on maintenance and support engineering for existing applications, handling bug fixes, feature work, and system upgrades across Java, Angular, and SQL.
Key responsibilities
- Manage bug fixes, triage, and product support across two applications using a shared code base
- Deliver contractually committed features and perform module refactors, including performance improvements
- Collaborate with the SecOps team for deployments, customer environment setups, and security remediation
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, particularly in production Java
- Proficiency in object-oriented Java and familiarity with J2EE patterns
- Experience with REST APIs and single-page applications
- SQL fluency for writing queries and managing data structures
- Experience with enterprise or SaaS products deployed to multiple external customers
