Job Summary
To support a growing IT services practice, the full-time Java Developer will develop scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and various front-end technologies, while participating in the full development lifecycle and ensuring code quality through reviews and testing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and NoSQL technologies
- Conduct code reviews and participate in Agile Scrum teams to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, APIs, and deployment procedures
Required qualifications
- Experience with Java and JavaScript programming languages
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and basic SQL skills
- Preferred Master's Degree in Computer Science (CS) or related field
- 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding and familiarity with Spring and React.js
