Seeking a skilled Java WebSphere Architect for a remote full-time position, responsible for designing and leading enterprise-scale Java applications on IBM WebSphere platforms, collaborating with stakeholders and development teams to ensure high-performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise architecture standards and design scalable, secure Java-based solutions on IBM WebSphere platforms
- Provide technical leadership for Java/J2EE application development and drive enterprise integrations using messaging frameworks
- Analyze and resolve complex performance issues while implementing security best practices across applications and middleware layers
Required Qualifications
- 14-18 years of experience in Java/J2EE architecture and design
- Strong expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server and enterprise application design
- Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and application security
- Familiarity with modern architectural patterns and cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS
- Proven ability to create high-level and low-level design documents and architecture diagrams
