Job Summary
To support the USMEPCOM ENLIST program, two Journeyman API Integration Engineers will work full-time in a remote capacity, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining reusable APIs and integration services while ensuring secure and reliable data exchanges across applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable APIs, integration services, and data exchanges
- Translate requirements and business rules into secure integration solutions, ensuring interoperability across systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures, implementing corrective actions for recurring issues
Required qualifications
- An active Secret clearance or higher
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field
- At least six years of relevant professional experience in software development and API integration
- Experience applying secure coding principles and using version-control systems
- Ability to prepare and maintain interface specifications and API documentation
