Job Summary
Supporting enterprise servers and cloud services, the full-time Journeyman Cloud System Engineer will provide hands-on technical assistance for server administration, virtualization, and outage restoration in a remote capacity, preferably for candidates based in the Chicago area.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise servers and supporting infrastructure
- Support cloud operations, integration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers and enterprise applications
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to operating systems, virtualization, and cloud connectivity
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or enterprise infrastructure
- Current professional certification relevant to systems, cloud, or virtualization engineering
