Supporting database availability and application operations, the full-time remote Journeyman Database Support Engineer will diagnose outages, troubleshoot incidents across various components, and coordinate with IT operations and software teams to ensure service restoration and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and support the availability, performance, and recoverability of enterprise databases and applications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database and application issues, including connection failures and service outages
- Coordinate with IT operations and software teams for incident resolution and application-code analysis
Required qualifications
- Active Secret clearance or higher
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant database support and application support experience
- Proven experience diagnosing database availability and application dependency issues
