Journeyman Endpoint Security Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting endpoint-security administration and compliance reporting, the full-time Journeyman Endpoint Security Engineer will investigate security events, manage agent health, and coordinate remediation activities in a remote setting, preferably for candidates located in the Chicago area.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a technical specialist for McAfee endpoint-security technologies, ensuring effective policy enforcement and compliance
• Monitor and troubleshoot endpoint agents, diagnosing connectivity and operational health issues while implementing corrective actions
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support cybersecurity incident reporting and maintain technical evidence for compliance activities

Required qualifications

• Active Secret clearance or higher
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant cybersecurity or endpoint-security experience
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification
• Hands-on experience administering or supporting McAfee endpoint-security technologies
