Journeyman RMF Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support federal cybersecurity initiatives, the remote Journeyman RMF Security Engineer will manage the full A&A lifecycle, develop and submit ATO packages, and ensure compliance with DoD requirements while collaborating with technical teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end A&A support across all phases of the federal RMF lifecycle
- Develop, maintain, and submit Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages, including a minimum of six completed ATO packages
- Generate and interpret ACAS scan results to identify system vulnerabilities and monitor remediation efforts
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Risk Management Framework, cybersecurity engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Thorough understanding of the federal RMF Assessment and Authorization process, including all phases of the RMF lifecycle
- Experience developing and submitting ATO packages
- Active Secret clearance required
- Must be DOD 8570 compliant
