Journeyman Systems Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely on government-furnished equipment, the Journeyman Systems Developer will design, develop, and unit-test custom interfaces and integrations for the Oracle Cloud EPM solution while supporting Agile development activities during core hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Eastern.
Key responsibilities
- Build and unit-test inbound data interfaces and automated load routines that run daily
- Develop data transformation, validation, and error-handling logic for source feeds
- Document interface designs and runbooks while fixing defects found in system integration testing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of software/interface development experience
- Experience with API-based integrations and middleware
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Groovy) and SQL
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
