Junior Actuarial Analyst AZ
Job Summary
To support healthcare actuarial analyses, the part-time Junior Actuarial Analyst AZ will work remotely for 20 hours a week, assisting with financial analyses across various programs while gaining exposure to reserving, trend analysis, and pricing.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in healthcare actuarial analyses under the supervision of actuarial staff
- Conduct projections, pricing, and reserving analyses using tools such as Excel and SAS
- Develop and present results of analyses to actuarial staff and support financial reporting activities
Required qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Knowledge of data analysis software, including Excel, SAS, and Tableau
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with actuarial exams is preferred
