Junior AI Engineer

Job Summary

Building and evaluating AI applications, the full-time Junior AI Engineer will work remotely to enhance an omnichannel AI agent for P&C carriers by managing prompt architecture, running evaluation loops, and analyzing production call traces.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end slices of the AI agent, including architecture and API calls
• Build and run evaluation loops, error analysis, and statistical measurement on production data
• Collaborate with teams to improve containment and resolution rates while maintaining accuracy

Required qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI applications, particularly with LLMs
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including knowledge of data stores and distributed systems
• Proficiency in working with coding agents and adapting workflows to new tools
• Ability to contribute to product development discussions with a solid understanding of insurance context
• Commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly evolving field
