Junior Business Analyst
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Junior Business Analyst will collaborate with client teams to gather requirements, document analytical processes, and support data and analytics solutions while managing tasks in Jira.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document requirements through stakeholder interviews and working sessions, managing user stories in Jira
- Analyze and improve core business processes, identifying pain points and recommending solutions with data and BI teams
- Create and maintain process documentation, including workflows and data definitions, while supporting UAT and sprint planning activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related role
- Basic understanding of data concepts, including tables, joins, and data models
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills), Jira, Power BI, and basic SQL querying
- Strong writing skills with the ability to translate unclear input into structured requirements
