Junior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting cybersecurity and information assurance activities in cloud environments, the full-time Junior Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer will identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, monitor cybersecurity events, and assist with incident response while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, analyze, and report events occurring within cloud environments using defensive measures
- Assist in protecting information systems from cybersecurity threats and support timely incident response
- Perform information assurance activities and support Security Operations Center (SOC) operations under technical supervision
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience with at least 1 year in cybersecurity
- Experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- General knowledge of cybersecurity and information assurance principles
- Familiarity with cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response
