Junior Cybersecurity Analyst
Job Summary
To support cybersecurity operations, the full-time Junior Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor and respond to security incidents, perform security analysis, and provide triage and support for security-related issues while working onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in security incident response investigations to resolve computer network defense (CND) incidents
- Collect, track, and document CND incidents from initial detection through final resolution
- Perform real-time CND incident handling tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs)
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of general IT experience
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+ certification
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and directory services such as DNS
- Familiarity with CND policies, procedures, and regulations
- Understanding of intrusion detection methodologies and techniques
