Junior Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Summary

To support cybersecurity operations, the full-time Junior Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor and respond to security incidents, perform security analysis, and provide triage and support for security-related issues while working onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in security incident response investigations to resolve computer network defense (CND) incidents
• Collect, track, and document CND incidents from initial detection through final resolution
• Perform real-time CND incident handling tasks to support deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs)

Required qualifications

• 1-3 years of general IT experience
• CompTIA Security+, Network+, or A+ certification
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, and directory services such as DNS
• Familiarity with CND policies, procedures, and regulations
• Understanding of intrusion detection methodologies and techniques
