Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic Security Team, the full-time Junior Cybersecurity Engineer will identify and mitigate security issues, manage access requests, and support incident response processes in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and help mitigate security issues, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities related to corporate infrastructure
• Proceed with requests and notifications related to security, including access management and vulnerability assessments
• Develop and implement new security measures and support the identity and access management process

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in server administration, network engineering, or infrastructure security
• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems and common OS hardening practices
• Technical knowledge of network protection and network device hardening
• Automation skills in Bash or Python
• Understanding of how computer attacks occur and a passion for cybersecurity
