Junior Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Department of Homeland Security, the remote Junior Data Analyst will evaluate program effectiveness, prepare risk mitigation recommendations, and implement quality management processes using Power BI and reporting tools.
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate the effectiveness and suitability of FPS programs and systems through various testing methods
- Prepare recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency
- Support the implementation of business intelligence and quality management processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of relevant experience with Power BI; certification preferred
- Experience with SharePoint and federal database systems
- Proficiency in Excel, including basic formulas, VLOOKUP, MATCH, and pivot tables
- Technical interview required to validate skills
