Junior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Collaborating with the analytics team, the full-time Junior Data Engineer will design and implement scalable ETL processes, perform data extraction, and build utilities to enhance data flow in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL or ELT processes to meet business data demands
- Perform data extraction, manipulation, and production from database tables
- Work with teams to resolve operational and performance issues while ensuring engineering best practices are followed
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline
- Intermediate proficiency in Python, with experience in data processing tools such as Numpy and Pandas preferred
- Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Passion for data and a strong desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
