Job Summary
To support a federal law enforcement mission, the full-time Junior Data Engineer will design, build, implement, and test data systems and components remotely, with occasional onsite requirements in Crystal City, VA.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze technical and stakeholder requirements
- Design, implement, and test software, data systems, and system components
- Develop scalable, high-performance applications and system components using Python and SQL
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant data engineering or software development experience
- Hands-on experience with Python and strong SQL skills
- Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle and/or PostgreSQL
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS 6C Public Trust
