Job Summary
To support the development of statistical and machine learning models, the full-time Junior Data Scientist will work remotely within the United States, focusing on detecting kinematic behaviors using live and historical data while collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to enhance data-driven applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in designing analytic solutions that meet customer needs
- Enhance existing analytic solutions to ensure quality and performance
- Perform data processing activities, including data cleansing and validation
Required qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain CBP/DHS suitability
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and relevant libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy)
- Experience in processing and analyzing time series and/or geospatial data
- Strong statistical background in areas such as statistical testing and regression
