Junior Design Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting Navy Contract Clients in a hybrid remote capacity, the full-time Junior Design Engineer & CAD Drafter will engage in CAD drafting, engineering analysis, and technical documentation while collaborating with senior engineers and project managers.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in translating functional requirements into design models and drawings
- Create and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software
- Ensure compliance with government standards and maintain drawing file management
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Systems Engineering, or an Associate's degree in CAD/Drafting Technology with relevant experience
- 0 to 2 years of professional or internship experience in engineering design or drafting
- Proficiency in CAD modeling and technical drawing production
- Working knowledge of 3D Modeling/BIM platforms such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Revit
- U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are mandatory
