Job Summary
Supporting the implementation and modernization of CI/CD pipelines, the full-time Junior DevOps Engineer will manage application containers using Docker and Amazon EKS, troubleshoot issues across the development lifecycle, and apply secure engineering practices in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor pipeline health and deployment reliability while identifying opportunities for performance improvement
- Deploy and manage containerized microservices, and support logging and monitoring practices using tools like DataDog
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to support end-to-end delivery and participate in Agile ceremonies
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development, IT, or DevOps-related work
- Familiarity with AWS services, including IAM, S3, EC2, and EKS
- Foundational knowledge of Git-based version control and CI/CD concepts
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code concepts, such as Terraform
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
