Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Junior eCommerce Web Developer will collaborate with senior developers to create and maintain high-quality web experiences for eCommerce platforms, focusing on front-end development and user experience in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with product and senior developers to translate visual designs into HTML pages and ensure adherence to design specifications
- Write, test, and debug HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while assisting with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance
- Participate in code reviews and take ownership of smaller tasks, seeking guidance from senior team members as needed
Required qualifications
- Foundational experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UX tools (e.g., Figma)
- Exposure to cloud-based CMS platforms (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, Shopify) is a plus
- 0-2 years of web development experience, including internships or coursework
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent self-directed/bootcamp experience
- Eagerness to learn modern front-end frameworks and tools
