Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team, the full-time Junior eCommerce Web Developer will focus on front-end development, translating designs into functional web pages, and collaborating with senior developers to enhance eCommerce platforms in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with product and senior developers to understand requirements and translate visual designs into HTML pages
- Write, test, and debug HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance
- Participate in code reviews and take ownership of smaller tasks, seeking guidance and learning best practices from senior team members
Required qualifications
- Foundational experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UX tools (e.g., Figma)
- Exposure to cloud-based CMS platforms (e.g., Webflow, WordPress, Shopify) is a plus
- 0-2 years of web development experience through internships, bootcamp projects, or coursework
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent self-directed/bootcamp experience
- Must be qualified to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship
