Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Junior eCommerce Web Developer for a full-time remote position, this role will focus on front-end development, collaborating with senior developers to create and maintain high-quality web experiences across eCommerce platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with product and senior developers to translate visual designs into HTML pages and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Write, test, and debug HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while assisting with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility guidelines
- Collaborate with teammates, participate in code reviews, and take ownership of smaller tasks to develop technical skills
Required qualifications
- 0-2 years of professional or project-based web development experience (internships, bootcamp projects, or coursework)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent self-directed/bootcamp experience
- Foundational experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UX tools (Figma)
- Exposure to cloud-based CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, Shopify) is a plus
- Eagerness to learn frameworks such as React and modern front-end tooling
