Junior Legal Counsel
Job Summary
Providing legal support to the in-house legal team, the full-time Junior Legal Counsel will negotiate and draft commercial contracts, advise internal teams on legal matters, and assist with complex legal issues, all while working remotely within the United Kingdom.
Key responsibilities
- Advise internal teams and triage legal requests, escalating complex matters to senior counsel
- Assist senior counsel on complex legal matters, including preparatory analysis and drafting initial positions
- Negotiate and draft contracts in both English and German, ensuring compliance with company templates
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience in commercial or corporate legal practice, preferably in an international in-house team or law firm
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including NDAs and commercial agreements
- Business fluency in German, with the ability to advise and draft in both German and English
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling a high volume of contracts and strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research and provide practical advice to internal stakeholders
