Junior Microsoft 365 Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the daily operations of a Microsoft 365 environment, the full-time Junior Microsoft 365 Engineer will perform administration, monitoring, and documentation tasks remotely while providing Tier 1/2 support for incidents and service requests across healthcare tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine Microsoft 365 administration across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams
• Provide Tier 1/2 support for M365 incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues as needed
• Assist with mailbox and Teams/SharePoint site provisioning and participate in project tasks such as mailbox migrations

Required qualifications

• Foundational understanding of Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 admin center and core mail-flow concepts
• Basic understanding of identity in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and multi-factor authentication
• An Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
• Relevant Microsoft certifications or training are preferred, such as Microsoft 365 Administrator or Teams Administrator
