Junior Network Engineer
Job Summary
To support the operational IT infrastructure, the remote Junior Network Engineer will diagnose network issues, assist in deploying new hardware, and reconfigure network devices while collaborating with onsite technicians and vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and diagnose reported network issues, working remotely with onsite technicians
- Reconfigure switchports and network devices to accommodate specific requirements
- Assist in the deployment of networks at new sites and maintain documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2 to 4 years of networking experience
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and common protocols
- Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Cisco ASA
- CCNA or CCNP certification preferred
