Junior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting an online case management system for a federal government client, the fully remote Junior Software Engineer/QA will engage in full stack development, provide technical support, and conduct testing while participating in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full stack development efforts including enhancements, bug fixes, and new features for the case management system
- Provide daily technical support and manage help desk ticketing to resolve incidents reported by users
- Conduct end-to-end and regression testing to validate functionality and system integrity
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology & Management, or a related field
- Approximately 2 years of software development or IT experience preferred
- Proficient in Agile Scrum methodology with hands-on experience in a Scrum team
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for tracking work and producing reports
- Experience with software testing practices, including end-to-end and regression testing
