Junior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Building and shipping well-defined features and bug fixes across the full stack, the remote Junior Software Engineer will focus on React user interfaces backed by .NET Core APIs and SQL Server while collaborating with experienced engineers to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver responsive, accessible React user interfaces and ensure code quality through established best practices
- Take ownership of code, addressing bugs and regressions while actively participating in code reviews and technical discussions
- Adhere to data-handling guidelines for sensitive healthcare information, utilizing mocked or anonymized data during development and testing
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in software development through professional, internship, academic, or personal projects
- A BS degree or equivalent professional experience or certifications
- Working knowledge of React, including hooks, component composition, and state management
- Solid JavaScript skills with experience in HTML/CSS for building responsive and accessible user interfaces
- Some experience with C# and understanding of full-stack development principles
