Job Summary
Joining the Cloud Infrastructure & Platform team, the remote Junior Software Engineer will develop and enhance backend services, support operations, and build internal tooling while collaborating with a highly efficient team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance features on existing backend services and cloud infrastructure
- Support operations by monitoring, triaging, and resolving platform and service incidents
- Build internal tooling and automation to improve team efficiency and system reliability
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on software engineering experience (internship experience counts)
- Experience with Java (Spring Boot, Maven) or a comparable backend language and framework
- Working knowledge of at least a few AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, Jenkins, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of fast learning and independently picking up new tools and systems
