Junior Solutions Architect
Job Summary
Collaborating with lead architects and cross-functional teams, the full-time Junior Solutions Architect will support the technical design, development, and delivery of IT and cloud solutions for federal and Department of Defense engagements, focusing on secure and scalable architectures in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and modeling of end-to-end architectures and technical specifications for federal IT programs
- Collaborate with technical leads to decompose functional and mission requirements into structured solution designs
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for government review, including architectural blueprints
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. Citizenship
- 4+ years of professional technical experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or solutions architecture
- Demonstrated experience designing solutions within cloud computing environments, preferably AWS
- Working knowledge of microservices architectures and API integration standards
- Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and containerization technologies
