Junior Underwriter
Job Summary
To support the growth of our auto finance operations, the full-time Junior Underwriter will manage dealership relationships by calling to finalize approvals into contracts, assess application risks, and provide tailored solutions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Call dealership partners to finalize approvals and capture contracts while assessing overall risk
- Ensure sales contracts meet program specifications or provide counteroffers to evaluate risk and pricing
- Collaborate with internal teams and dealerships to strengthen relationships and drive business success
Required qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in auto finance or financial services is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, and Teams
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with dealers and sales teams
- Organizational and time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
