K-5 Science Academic Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote K-5 Science Academic Designer, this project-based role will develop instructional materials for print and digital science products, ensuring quality and alignment with curriculum standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting in the development of elementary science instructional materials in both print and digital formats
• Producing high-quality, error-free materials that meet curriculum standards and appropriate reading levels
• Collaborating with teams to meet market requirements, project schedules, and product goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, science, or science education
• 5+ years of experience in educational publishing or significant editorial experience
• Extensive knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
• Experience in creating assessments that measure student progress across multiple dimensions
• Familiarity with digital curriculum development and educational products
