K8 School Counselor

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the K8 School Counselor will advise students and families on academics, career planning, and graduation requirements while utilizing various communication platforms to ensure student success.

Key responsibilities

• Advise students and families on academic and career planning, including course selection and graduation requirements
• Monitor student progress and well-being, providing support and interventions as needed
• Coordinate with school teams to develop and implement individual plans for students, including crisis management and support resources

Required qualifications

• Certification in school counseling from any state preferred; or teaching certification required
• Strong technology skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
• Ability to work remotely and manage communication effectively
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused approach with excellent organizational skills
