Job Summary
To ensure the accuracy and integrity of dental benefit programs, the full-time Kansas Licensed Dental Policy Manager will oversee clinical policy, coding, education, and data quality functions while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, document, and maintain dental coverage policies, including benefit criteria and coding guidance
- Lead audits to realign existing coverage policies with current standards and practices
- Serve as the clinical authority on dental policy and coding, supporting regulatory audits and vendor performance oversight
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene, Health Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Dental clinical training, licensure, or certification (RDH, DDS, or equivalent) required
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in dental benefits or policy development, including at least 3 years in a lead role
- Expertise in CDT codes and dental benefit structures, with experience in health plan environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with policy management tools preferred
