Key responsibilities

• Make and receive calls with members to assist in applying for Medicaid, Medicare Savings Programs, and Low-Income Subsidies
• Determine eligibility for benefits through a series of questions and explain regulations in simple terms
• Gather and verify personal and financial details to ensure accurate enrollment and recertification

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in healthcare, eligibility screening, case management, or high-touch customer service
• Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP, or Special Needs Plans is a major plus
• Comfortable navigating multiple software systems and databases while engaging with members
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Strong critical thinking skills to manage difficult conversations and clarify information
