Job Summary

To support a growing firm during peak periods, the part-time Kansas Licensed Seasonal Audit Associate will plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits while managing budgets and training junior staff, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning, executing, and completing financial statement audits while managing budgets and performing in-charge roles as necessary
• Communicating with clients regarding engagement expectations and informing them about relevant accounting and regulatory developments
• Training and supervising audit associates and interns, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of two years of progressive public accounting experience with in-charge auditing
• Meeting education requirements for CPA certification in the state of Kansas
• Proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
• Experience with automation and digitization tools in audits or professional services
