Job Summary
To support patient care, the part-time Kansas Licensed Social Worker will assess psychological, social, emotional, and financial needs, providing treatment and crisis intervention while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop discharge plans for patients with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses
- Provide crisis intervention and educational support to patients and their families
- Participate in program planning and development to enhance service delivery within the healthcare system
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work required
- Kansas Social Work license required
- Certified LMSW or LCSW required
- Knowledge of social work theory and practice at the MSW level
- Preferred prior experience in a healthcare setting
