Job Summary
Supporting Deployment billing and contract revenue, the full-time Kansas Project Accountant will manage complex client contracts, analyze Statements of Work, and ensure accurate project setup and revenue recognition while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review contract documents to identify billing-relevant terms and translate them into project setup instructions and revenue recognition considerations
- Support deferred revenue analysis and reconciliations to ensure compliance with contract terms and accounting guidance
- Create and maintain project setup information in ERP systems, ensuring accurate billing rules and contract-related data
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in a finance or accounting department with a focus on project accounting and revenue recognition
- Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and experience with contract billing
- Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in data analysis and reconciliation
- Experience with ERP systems for project management and accounting functions
