Job Summary
Passionate about teaching and student learning, Kentucky Licensed Adjunct Faculty in Education will teach assigned courses in the Patton College of Education, focusing on curriculum development and providing educational support, all while working remotely on a part-time basis.
Key responsibilities
- Teach assigned education courses, including preparation of lecture notes, presentations, exam questions, and syllabi
- Participate in and recommend curriculum development and evaluation
- Provide educational support for students as needed and perform other duties assigned by the Dean or Director of Teacher Education
Required qualifications
- Minimum of Rank I (Master's + 30) or EdS in Education
- At least five years of experience in a certified position in the P-12 setting
- Experience using Canvas and/or other web-based learning platforms preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, teaching, and decision-making skills
