Job Summary
Leading Applications Security Testing activities, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Application Security Expert will conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST) scans, manage the DevSecOps pipeline, and provide security consulting to development teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct Static Application Security Testing (SAST) scans and Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
- Manage the DevSecOps pipeline to ensure strong security measures and standards
- Provide security consulting to design and development teams on best practices for secure application development
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security, particularly in application security testing and development
- Proficiency in SAST tools such as Checkmarx, IBM AppScan, and HP Fortify
- Expertise in secure programming for languages including Java, C, C++, .Net, and Python
- Experience in Application Security Assessment and Secure Code Review (DAST & SAST)
- Strong understanding of security frameworks to protect applications from various attacks
