Job Summary
To enhance access to behavioral health services, the full-time Kentucky Licensed Assessment Clinician will perform comprehensive evaluations, coordinate treatment plans with medical teams, and conduct outreach to referral sources, operating in a hybrid environment that includes both remote and onsite assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate individuals seeking behavioral health and substance use treatment, determining provisional diagnoses and treatment recommendations
- Coordinate level-of-care expectations with physicians and external agencies, presenting clinical information to ensure appropriate care
- Conduct assessments remotely and on-site across various populations, while maintaining strong relationships with community referral sources
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling/clinical psychology, marriage & family therapy, mental health counseling, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, including assessment and crisis intervention
- Valid Driver's License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Safe Crisis Management (SCM) training to be obtained within thirty days of hire
- Reliable internet connection for remote assessments and ability to maintain confidentiality in the home setting
